I would have to agree with what not blonde said, it hits the target. Loved the sound of the song, because it's just different from their other songs...entering a different music genre |

Rilo Kiley – More Adventurous Lyrics

There could be lots of different ways to interpret to this song. To me, it seems like the song is just trying to say that all you need is to be loved, and if you loved somebody so much you would sacrifice everything, heaven, money, all the material things you really don't need (heaven part I would need, but maybe it was meant to be an exaggeration). YOu just need to be loved and to love somebody, and also make some babies, let them experience love . Great song. (I don't think Jenny Lewis is a lesbian) |

Rilo Kiley – Portions for Foxes Lyrics

It seems like some person is lonely and desperate, who is with some other person and they're both using each other for sex. As the person is analyzing the state of his/her relationship, they find that there's no depth in it, besides having the common interest: sex, but regardless needs it to because they're lonely. Love the song. |

Love this song too. I like the disco sound they have going on. Can't say I really know what the song is about, but I like it regardless of the actual meaning.
Do agree somewhat with what "The Kernal" said about a relationship drifting apart. Great song. |

Corinne Bailey Rae – Trouble Sleeping Lyrics

Why am I the first to comment on this song? This song is great! I love the tune and beat, its so damn catchy. The song is always stuck in my head, but I don't mind too much. I guess this song's about somebody who tries to keep talking themselves that they're not in love. It's like they're in a state of denial. It seems that they're scared of falling in love again, cause they've been hurt before. Something to that aspect. One of favs from Corinne. |

I love this song. I think its about just waiting for someone who is just so busy or "busy." All she wants is to be with him, but for now an hour will do, if nothing else. |

This is one of my favorite songs from Bic Runga. I like how the song is simply done, by just the acoustic guitar and her voice. My favorite line from the song is, "your face could light the bitter dark of every street." Beautiful and elegant song. |

This is such a great song from Bic Runga. I think the song is about a girl (lola), who is struggling to stay true to herself. Everyone around her is supposedly her "friend," but they don't really know her. |

This is one of my favorite songs from Bic Runga. I like how the song is simply done, by acoustic guitar. For the meaning of the song, I'd have to agree with the second comment made. A beautiful, simple song. |

I can't believe no one has commented on this song. This is such a great song and I like how its simply done. For the meaning of this song, to me it seems a little sad. When he says, "but one thing I'm missing is in your eyes." Seems the guy really likes someone, but that person doesn't really feel the same way. Still a great song. |

Eisley – I Wasn't Prepared Lyrics

It seems to me that the girl was kind of naive or vulnerable and has fallen hard for some guy, who doesn't exactly return her affectons, but despite that she wants him still when she says, " Come, come back to me, my, my darling." Even the tune is a little depressing. It has a melancholy about it, but her voice is elegant, beautiful, angelic, and the harmonizing is great. |

When I first heard this song, I just wanted to break down and cry. Amos Lee's voice is just so...I don't even have words to describe it. This is such a great song. |
