Keith Urban – But For The Grace Of God Lyrics
| 18 years ago

The second verse is my favorite. He's living in an abode where he "can hear the neighbors" through the walls and where "there hasn't been peace on our street / since who knows when." Conjures an urban (HAHA!) and restless setting, but he still able to realize the love and blessings that surrounds him. The "rich" dude, however, is in daze, and his money has blinded him from what life's all about. |

Kenny Rogers – Lady Lyrics

A gorgeous song. I concur. What lady doesn't want to hear this from her man? Lionel Richie, Jr. wrote a great love song, and Kenny did wonders with his voice. |

Kid Rock – Only God Knows Why Lyrics

Kid Rock is rock, but he knows a thing or two about country and roots. I watched one of those Behind-The-Music thing about him, and I think I remember them saying that he grew up on country.
Good job on this one Kid. Makes me feel every time. And I doubt he wrote this song for the sole purpose or goal of making money. |

Keith Urban – You'll Think Of Me Lyrics

Yes, the CD version is great, but it gets an added dimension when he performs it live. He includes his own bitter verse at the end that practically bursts the veins in his neck. Though he sings with heart he did not write the song. Three of his Nashville writer friends did. Darrell Brown. Ty Lacy. Dennis Matkosky.
The live version can be seen on CMT's 'Crossroads' where he sings and plays with John Fogerty. Or at Sessions@AOL. The guitar picking is quite fabulous as well. |
