Bob Dylan – Bob Dylan's 115th Dream Lyrics | 18 years ago |
this is one of dylan's funniest songs ever - btw. in the first verse he refers to captain ahab as in moby dick. the story itself is a pretty funny, slightly cynical view of mainly bureocracy and with some very intelligent nonsense in it. |
Bob Dylan – Death Is Not the End Lyrics | 18 years ago |
well, even if you were suicidal, this song wuold not help you any with your decision, as he sings 'death is not the end' - i.e. whatever you want to escape from, doesn't necessarily stop. to me it's rather a hopeful song: refers to lost hopes and illusions that aren't lost forever. and i love the line: 'And you search in vain to find Just one law abiding citizen Just remember that death is not the end.' pretty cynical ;-) |
