Give virtualfactor some slack here. They're only expressing their oppinion on the song, which all you are also doing. So what if his oppinions are different? It is one of my favourites on the new album, mainly because I don't like the new album as much as the older ones. |

I believe that he is using his Absinthe addiction to describe his feelings for a person. The music itself does show the feelings he was going through while on absinthe; extremely mellow at the start, then suddenly upbeat and lively. Then almost messed up crazy. And finally, the come down. Slow, and moody. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but it is just an oppinion. |

| I just bought the album Pretty Hate Machine today, surprisingly as 'retail therapy' after a breakup. I'm familiar with NIN, as I already own The Downward Spiral. This song related to exactly how I felt. Upset, somewhat isolated, and at times, agressive. Amazing song. | |
