Trapt – Stories Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Ahaha, such a beautiful song. ♥ It always makes me think about the people I loved at one point or another, and how I now miss them. It's like, a person is remembering a relationship they had. How rocky it was. They still love the other person, but they figure it's better without the troubles. Regardless they still love the other person, and the other person still (apparently) likes them, even if they're split. Of course, the last line saying "I think it's time for us to walk away from here." means he just wants to forget everything and move on. But I also want to interpret the instrumentals, not just the lyrics... it feels like a sunset (of course, representing the end) but it also feels like running. Like as if someone was going fast. But towards the end, the last little part they do, makes me feel like both the sunset ended and the person stopped. I'm interpreting it as they've moved on. |
Kaiser Chiefs – The Angry Mob Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Haha, yeah, kinda sounds like Britain. Oooh but this song is AWESOME. Kaiser Chefs must take tradition in making addictive songs, because every time this song ends I push the back button just like I did with "Oh My God." It's like drugs, seriously... |
Jason Mraz – Galaxy Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Yep. The song is freaking awesome. You can tell there was a lot of work put into it, that there was some sort of grand motivation to Jason when he was writing it. It's just beautiful as ever. Of course, it's comparing a person to the stars, about how they're both the most beautiful things he could ever look at. And how they cast light upon his "lonely life." But that's an obvious meaning. |
Evanescence – Call Me When You're Sober Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Wow, this does sound really diffrent. Of course, this isn't like older Evanescence, but it's good, I like it. It's catchy, no? And yeah, the meaning is straightforward. |
Kaiser Chiefs – Oh My God Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Wow. All I can say is WOW. I've had this song on repeat for hours and it's just... so awesome... I'd never get sick of it! It's just awesome... But the meaning of the song is a hard one to grab. Even I can't do it. XP |
Jamie Cullum – Photograph Lyrics | 18 years ago |
This seems like someone reflecting on their naive, teenage years and all the stupid things you have done. He's looking at a photograph and thinking about his past, and he knows it was a special part of his life. Like, the teenage years when you think you know everything but you don't. He also says he was afraid at the time, but now looking back at it he enjoys the memory. (This is how I just think of the song. Might be wrong, eh.) This song is a beautiful one, too, it makes you kinda... 'glow'... |
Evanescence – Heart-Shaped Box (Nirvana cover) Lyrics | 18 years ago |
*presidential. xD Stupid tyops. |
Evanescence – Heart-Shaped Box (Nirvana cover) Lyrics | 18 years ago |
I think we have a debate here that is even worse the presidentail debates. Eee... Either way, this may not be the best cover Evan has done, but it's still really good. Amy Lee's voice makes up for anything the song is lacking, at least in my opinion. And you know, all you little Nirvana 'omfg thiz sux :( u sux 4 likin evensnse' fanboys would probably make Nirvana blow their tops? I'm sure such a cool band like Nirvana wouldn't want their fanbase represented by a bunch of idiots. |
Evanescence – Thoughtless (Korn cover) Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Wow, people have opinions. Vivid ones. However, so many people can't express them maturely... That's actually kinda sad. Anyway, I'm a big fan of Amy Lee. So, when I first got 'Anywhere But Home' and heard this song, I was addicted. I got a copy of KoRn's version... and they don't sound that much alike. They are both awesome songs. I personally like Evan's version, because I'm biased. xD |
Kelly Clarkson – Gone Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Hm. I really thought Kelly Clarkson was more than overrated until my little sister played this song. It's an addictive song, that's easy to say. Obviously, it's about a lover telling lies and the person being lied to is sick of it and just ends their relationship. She's sick of him lying to her and hurting her, then asking for her to accept his apology. A person can only take so much abuse, no? |
Norah Jones – Above Ground Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Almost two years and nobody has commented on this? That's sad, apparently not that many have a taste for Norah Jones' beautiful work. The meaning? As far as I can tell, it's about a girl who is hiding her love for the guy of her dreams. She's basically hiding herself and her emotions away from the world - keeping them underground in her soul. This girl is trying to gain enough courage to tell this guy what she thinks. She wants to meet him 'outside, above ground.' She wants to find a place where she can be open about her true thoughts, and let her fears go. 'I see you on your way, I'll be with you someday.' He is in this place she wants to be, where if he shared feelings he'd be also free to say so. She knows she'll eventually get the courage to talk to him, but as for right now she keeps hidden. This is just how I see the song. Perhaps someone else sees something else in it...? |
Fatboy Slim – Gangster Tripping Lyrics | 18 years ago |
twistedg76 has it right, the lyrics are not 'I fuck with your woman.' Either way, this is a funky song and I fell in love with it instantly. Yeah, I'd reccomend this song to almost anyone. |
