Mezmerize is Definately first hence the ''INTRO'' to the double disk album.......Soldierside! And i think Mezmerize was originally called Hypnotize and the other way around! I looked on play.com and it said it was Hypnotize at first! also, strangely, it said that Lonely Day was on the end, after Lost In Hollywood! =-/

yeah! but thinking to the war in iraq, you probably have more chance to get back! think about world war I and II and vietnam (although i dont know much about it) they were pretty much sent to die, whereas today it is more as not sendt out to die, although loads do, but we are more advanced than in world war i guess! so more about the earlier wars........however you are right. |

maybe it is about the loss of a loved one. ''dreaming of screaming'' maybe being at the place when the loved one was murdered. and the haunting memories bring back the pictures in his head ''I hate these thoughts I can't deny'' and that says that he cant deny that they are gone.
also, could be about war. ''For today we will take the body parts and put them on the wall'' saying all the people that die in war. they cant deny that there family member/partner is not coming back. |

it is breathing...look at the official lyrics. it says it on soadfans.com i love this song though! i learnt to play it on the guitar yesterday and i love playing it! waiting for a mega heavy song from system for awhile since the toxicity album really! steal this album kicked ass but it didnt have the heavuer songs! however, it was an experiment and it was successful in my eyes! =] |

To the retard at the end there........you are a fucking moron! This song is personal emotions as far as i can see! most people can relate to this! I hate to hear Daron slated for his singing and they say he sucks in this! But i strongly disagree! He isn't the best singer in the world but he is good! His voice just fits the song and it makes it feel more personal.
I could be, as the title suggests, a Lonely Day but i thought it could be away from a partner and away from everyone and isolated from the world. ''and if you go....etc.'' sounds like he is talking to a partner. But considering it goes into Soldierside, it could be related to the war and that you feel lonely in the trenches or what ever. Depends on your view i suppose... |
