Biffy Clyro – Sky Demon Lyrics

Also, it's only a minor change but I heard that line in the chorus as "say it loud and SING it proud". And the bit where you have 'bloody guitar' sounds to me like "If the body could talk, it would say we're happy". But I could easily be wrong on that one. |

That line in the chorus sounds like "I don't want us to pretend - Things will make sense ever again." |

Young Knives – Another Hollow Line Lyrics

The phrase "It's not in what you say, it's in what you do" springs to mind. Great song this. Ridiculously high note on the 'and you know you love him' line though! |

Mclusky – Cradling Lyrics

This song is actually called Cradling. Or it is on the mcluskyism CD anyway. And I love it. |

Oasis – Cloudburst Lyrics

This is one of those where you think there might be some deep meaning, but actually, they probably just wrote a song about the weather. |

Mclusky – That Man Will Not Hang Lyrics

These lyrics are pure class, I was amazed someone hadn't submitted them yet.
Don't really care what it's about, it just rules. What a bassline. |

Gomez – Chicken Out Lyrics

Just a small error - it's 'blagging' not 'bragging'.
No clue what this is about. When he mentioned 'the song' I don't know if he's talking about this actual song or a different one. I dunno, confused. |

Oceansize – Women Who Love Men Who Love Drugs Lyrics

Here are the actual lyrics by the way, posted by Mike recently at oceansizeboard.co.uk:
"sarah's killer lifus exitus so don't dare, killer... it's on me.... it's on you
so don't you believe women who love men who love drugs
drugs yeeeeaaaaahhh" |

Mclusky – Fuck This Band Lyrics

But they managed to hang on another 3 years? Doubtful, I wouldn't have said it was serious. And anyway, now they've split up, we're responsible, remember?
"Fuck this band cos they swear too much" is probably the most ironic line ever. |

Reuben – Blamethrower Lyrics

I went to see dredg the other week and Reuben were supporting. They played this song and I thought it superb. Great riff, good lyrics. Good band.
I guess the subject matter is self explanatory - seems to be about people who pass the buck, shift the blame and don't take responsibility for their own actions. And we all know someone like that. |

Status Quo – Pictures Of Matchstick Men Lyrics

You guys are pretty harsh. I just heard this song on an advert and had to find out what it was. I reckon it's pretty good. Goes a bit crappy in the middle, but decent all-in-all. |

Aereogramme – Motion Lyrics

This song is blinding. I love it. I would guess it's about a relationship which has taken off a bit too quickly, and neither person quite knows where they stand with one another. |

Dredg – Whoa Is Me Lyrics

Also, it's "This drought is leaving me.." in the chorus, not this ground. And "waiting for the snow", not sound. :) |

@ RockXWL - vividness of DREAM, not greed. That guy is a liar anyway, no way was it recorded in 1944.
This is one of my favourite dredg songs, I love the power of it, and the winding down sax solo. |

Dredg – Lechium Lyrics

|
Well, it starts with 'Eee-yah-yah-yahyah' but aside from that, no.
This is my favourite dredg song, I love the intro build up and the big distortion bit that comes in. It's perfect. I wish they still played it live. |

Oceansize – Women Who Love Men Who Love Drugs Lyrics

This song may be the most beautiful song in existence. The lyrics being so simple as they are, it's open to many interpretations. I would guess it's about a guy who is deep shit with drugs, but his girlfriend still loves him and sticks up for him and everything. (Obvious guess I know, but, meh.) |

Oceansize – Catalyst Lyrics

This is my favourite song of all time. Yet I also have no idea what the second half of the chorus says. Still, it's all about the instrumental outro. No clue what it's about either. |
