Frank Turner – Worse Things Happen At Sea Lyrics | 14 years ago |
I love how you can hear in his voice how strong he is trying to be but you can tell that he's falling apart slowly. "And I hope you're doin fine, Well me I'm doin fucking great" - you can hear the painful sarcasm in his tone of voice and you can hear him falling apart here: "You got nothing to be sorry for, I got noone to care for" |
Frank Turner – Worse Things Happen At Sea Lyrics | 14 years ago |
Um, mate. I think it's more like, yes he was in the Navy and he thought that was bad. Until he went through this experience and realised that the feeling of being rejected by someone you love/cheated on is much worse. |
Kings of Leon – Milk Lyrics | 14 years ago |
I always thought this song was kind of fucked up, due to his droaning voice. I absolutely love it, but I mean, it always kind of gave me chills. |
Frank Turner – Casanova Lament Lyrics | 14 years ago |
Do you ever think that maybe it actually was? |
Rob Thomas – Someday Lyrics | 14 years ago |
It's kind of amazing that this song came out around this time. My boyfriend and I broke up a few days ago, and this song really describes exactly how I feel. That hopefully one day we will work it out. That I'm waiting for him to figure himself out and figure out what he wants in life. To me, it's about wanting to start something over again and do it right and maybe this time everything will be okay. It's about having faith in someone or something. |
Something Corporate – Airports Lyrics | 15 years ago |
"And I've waited here for hours, hoping that you'd call And my dialing finger's tired, and your machine is full And I've taken 18 showers just to pass the time And that fucking phone just rang, but it wasn't you on the line." I love that. |

Miley Cyrus – 7 Things Lyrics | 16 years ago |
I quite like this song. It reminds me of a song that a thirteen year old would relate their first break up with. But I like it anyway. The Smiths are my favourite band. So I don't really understand why. But it's quite good. |

And I agree. It's about being happy with what you have. He's happy, and all he has is a bit of alcohol and three days worth of stuble. Haha. It's about living by your own rules, doing everything your way. Whatever makes you happy :) |
Cold Chisel – Cheap Wine Lyrics | 16 years ago |
I love this song. It's amazing. I'm surprised to see that it's still being commented (as of five months ago), seeing as it was released in 1980. Well done. |

This song is the most powerful thing I have ever heard. |

This song is brilliant. It was written and sung so beautifully. "Maggie I wish I'd never seen your face. I'll get on back home one of these days..." :) |
Something Corporate – If You C Jordan Lyrics | 16 years ago |
This song is so true. I realise that Andrew is refering to one particular guy, but when he says "theres too many of you in this world" it makes it more universal. He is refering to those guys who think that they are always top shit, who everyone wants to be friends with and who all the girls want to fuck. But usually, nobody wants to be their friends and are only nice to them because they're scared of them, and they never get girls, "did you make it home in time to masterbate?" |
New Radicals – Someday We'll Know Lyrics | 16 years ago |
I love this song. It is pretty self explanitory. I love this part; "I bought a ticket to the end of the rainbow I watched the stars crash in the sea If I could ask God just one question Why aren't you here with me, tonight!?" Beautiful. |
Thursday – Signals Over The Air Lyrics | 16 years ago |

Van Morrison – Brown Eyed Girl Lyrics | 16 years ago |
This is a brilliant song. It reminds me of being like six years old, because I didn't know much better than to listen to my dad's music. |
Steve Miller Band – Jet Airliner Lyrics | 16 years ago |
My cousin used to think that this song said, "Big old Jet had a rhino". This song reminds me of my uncle's band, when they used to cover this song back in the day. |
Hilary Duff – Anywhere But Here Lyrics | 16 years ago |
I quite like this song actually. |
Something Corporate – Konstantine Lyrics | 16 years ago |
I see this song in a different way. Me and my boyfriend listen to it when we miss eachother because he goes to a boarding school a few hours away. We tend to twist the meaning of the song to fit in with our situation, but I suppose thats what you do with songs; relate to it some way or another. |
Youth Group – Forever Young Lyrics | 16 years ago |
