Wow, this song is about pot. That's kind of suprising, concidering it's total up beat feel. I always thought it was a love song to a person, not a drug. Oh well, it's still a really cool.
By the way, did that song sound kind of like something Blood, Sweat, and Tears or Chicago would do? I guess that just shows the influence the Beatles had on music. |

"Let me tell you how it will be, One for you nineteen for me". That sums it up for you. This my favorite song from "Revolver" (I bought just this afternoon). If you haven't bought Revolver yet, you have GOT to in the near future! It's not Sgt. Pepper or Abbey Road but it's still great.
By the way, in the beginning of Taxman, you can hear Ringo (?) counting off. Is this on both the US and UK verison or just the UK version? |

I've always liked this song. I kind of wish that the rest of album went with the theme of a false concert from a false band. I think it would have been a pretty cool concept. I mean, the only songs that fit into it are Sgt. Pepper, With a Little Help From My Friends, and Sgt. Pepper (reprice) |
