This is without a doubt my favorite song from Symphony Soldier. It's a really uplifting view of the what the last day of your life is like. I specifically love the lines: "My only regret is having regrets" and "And rob the local bank Let me become real rich So I can give it all away" |

I'd like to disagree on preference of the EP vs. Grand Unification versions... I like the extra atmosphere as Golson pointed out. However, the extra loud bass guitar in the EP version kinda ruins it. But to each their own. Either way - this song is incredible...Epic is the best word to describe it. I'm contemplating a trip to the UK to see these guys cause I love them so much that I don't mind flying from Minnesota, if thats what I have to do! |

I think DC and Federov have both points of the song... first he's explaining that yah he messed up and he does still care however later he begins second guessing the situation because of their distance and her attempts to make him jealous. He ultimately would like her to sit back and second guess her choices and realize she's better than that, especially when they're together. If he had a chance he mgiht be able to convince her of that, if only she'd make the effort... Thats what i got. |

I don't think its that cut and dry... I think the 2nd verse is meant to illustrate the writers struggles with the road and giving into certain temptations - whether they be drugs or booze or whatever. However in the end she's his savior. |

Affair = yes... But it's an affair with a former lover. (no introductions required). The relationship was over before it began i think means two things: 1. This fling is just a fling - they've already split. 2. Relationships in general are fleeting: "Everyone in this town is seeing somebody else Everybody's tired of someone our eyes wander for help" I think this is about the lapses in judgment one has after leaving someone - where they fall back and have sexual relations with that person even though they know they shouldn't. |
