i think he has done something wrong like drugs ("I’ve trashed myself ") and gotten into fights about it. and things like that are ussually done by night ("beneath the silver moon") but why did he pick chandler (in arizona) and van nuy (in california)? are those areas filled with druggies? why those particular places? he has hurt this girl by doing these unlawfull activities, and she is bugging him about it (that is why she is following him in the begining of the song). the vampires and thier brides refers to all the adicts (does brides refer to prostitues?) who regret doing wat they are, and trying to get a life "beyond the silvwer moon" |

after reading the book animal farm, i tried to connect his song to the book...it didnt quite fit, but there was a connection. wen he's telling certain ppl to go home, it's only happy, naive ppl. but wat would that type of ppl be excuded from?...the government? maybe....like most ppl are on the outside of government plans, and seem satisfied to 'wait outside'. |
