System of a Down – Tentative Lyrics | 18 years ago |
yeah I agree, but to be honest i think the bombing of pearl harbor was way worse than 9-11, so i think the U.S has had a taste of a bombing, but that dosen't even come close to the bombing of Japan. |

Ok Inniscor, first of all this is songmeanings.net where your supposed to post your thoughts on what you think a song means, not criticize the thoughts of others. Second of all, obviously you haven’t actually listened to the song because if you did you would know what I was talking about. Why do you think SOAD say’s “Wondering when (Savior / Jesus) comes Is he gonna be saved”. I’ll explain, when Jesus died, he died for our sin’s right, so we could what? Die, no, he died so we could live, if you read the bible then you would know about a resurrection that has been prophesied for the future when Jesus is supposed to “return” and “when” he does, all the dead good people will be resurrected so they can live. If you keep listening to the song it say’s “God is wearing black He’s gone so far to find no hope He’s never coming back” I’ll explain again. “Thou shall not kill” will be found in the bible, so according to the bible if someone kill’s then they are sinners and are no longer considered good people. I think you might be getting were I’m going with this. Last but not least if that didn’t explain anything then this question may help Do you think when someone goes to war, they return the exact same person they left as? Think about all the soldiers in World War I and II, Vietnam, and Iraq : really any soldier in the world. |

Some of these lyrics are wrong, for example: Dead men lying on the heart of the grave Wondering when savior comes, if he is gonna be saved Maybe you're a sinner and to your turn in life Maybe you're a joker, maybe you deserve to die Dead men lying on the bottom of the grave Wondering when Savior comes Is he gonna be saved Maybe you're a sinner into your alternate life Maybe you're a joker, maybe you deserve to die He's come so far to find no truth He's come so far to find the truth Holy to the little bishop, tells the king his lies Cruelty to the winner, Bishop tells the King his lies This song is great although I did like it better on Mezmerize. I especially like the "sort of" flamenco background they put on the song. The meaning of the song is really not that hard to figure out. It about how a soldier has no hope whatsovever in returning once he or she goes to war. |
System of a Down – Stealing Society Lyrics | 18 years ago |
I think this song is about how pollution and drugs are stealing our society, the first part of the song say's "Two skies", that could refer to a natural blue sky and the other to a polluted black sky. It also say's "one's abating" (correct spelling) meaning its being put to an end, and "one's abiding" (correct spelling) meanings its enduring. The second part of the song is pretty obvious on drugs Stealing Society by saying "If I die I die' |
System of a Down – Attack Lyrics | 18 years ago |
SOME of these Lyrics are wrong but I will still put up the whole song Breathing each other's lives Holding this in mind That if we fall, we all fall And we fall alone The cold insincerity of steel machines Have consumed our euphoria Transforming us into muted dreams Dreaming of the day that We attack Attack, attack your fetal servitude We attack Attack, attack, attack with pesticide We attack All the years of propaganda We shall attack Books illustrate what we already know Candles cry towards the sky Racing your flags along polluted coasts Dreaming of the day that We attack Attack, attack your fetal servitude We attack Attack, attack, attack with pesticide We attack All the years of propaganda We shall attack Attack Attack Breathing each other's lives Holding this in mind That if we fall, we all fall And we fall alone Breathing each other's lives Holding this in mind That if we fall, we all fall And we fall alone What's the philosophy of displaced mines The bombing of all homes and villages Truth is the only sword bleeding minds Bleeding till the day that We attack Attack, attack your fetal servitude We attack Attack, attack, attack with pesticide We attack All the years of propaganda We shall attack Attack all the homes and villages Attack all the schools and hospitals You attack all the rapes and pillages We shall attack We shall attack This song is AWSOME, I think its how when ever the U.S is at war everyone always say's "Just bomb them all and get it over with". Tthat's why it says attack ALL the homes and villages and Attack ALL schools and hospitals. Then it says you HAVE attacked all the innocent villages. |
System of a Down – Tentative Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Hey haiduc and to the rest of the people, the correct lyrics are these: Superstition taking all of us for a ride Mimes overtaken by the signs of the Right The bombs are falling overhead with no sight While you are talking all detached, so tell us Where you going To the bottom Do you hear us We are rotting We're going down in a spiral to the ground No one, no one's gonna save us now Ceremonies have killed religions for they provide The masked comforts to delusionals, they're all in fright The true believer's head was bathed in sunlight While you are walking all detached, so tell us Where you going To the bottom Do you hear us We are rotting We're going down in a spiral to the ground No one, no one's gonna save us now Not even God, no one saved us No one's gonna save us Where do you expect us to go when the bombs fall? Where do you expect us to go when the bombs fall? Where do you expect them to go when the bombs fall? Where do you expect us to go when the bombs fall? Superstition taking all of us for a ride Mimes overtaken by the signs of the Right The bombs are falling overhead with no sight While you are talking all detached, detached, detached, detached, detached Going down, in a spiral to the ground No one, no one's gonna save us now Not even God, no one saved us, no one saved us No one saved us, no one's gonna save us now Where do you expect us to go when the bombs fall? As to the meaining of this song i still can't exactly say except that it sounds like we are doomed to being killed by bombs. One reason is that it say's" Where do you expect us to go WHEN the bombs fall" and " no one's gonna save us nowNot EVEN God". I like how It says "were going down in a spiral to the ground" because that what you would see looking down on a missile heading to the ground. It's only a matter of time before it hits the ground and explodes! |
Evanescence – Zero (Smashing Pumpkins cover) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
I think this song is great. First off, this is Evanescence singing, not a band trying to sound like Smashing Pumpkins. They actually do an awsome job singing it. (Their Way) I especially like when Amy sings the word: "Intoxicated" |
