This is the song my ex-boyfriend should make his soundtrack. Someone to love And you fuck it up!" I have talked to his friends and this seems to be a reccuring theme in his life. He doesn't think he should be happy so he goes and fucks things up. He ignores his friends, sleeps with his good friend's girlfriend, or in my case breaks up with his girlfriend so he can think about what a shitty boyfriend he was even though he wasn't. "Someone you love and you give them the kiss off." This song is about Tim's self-inflicted pain. From listening to his other songs, one can infer that Tim has cheated on his girlfriends and his ex-wife. Tim does this in order to prove that he is a horrible man, doesn't deserve to have someone love him and he only deserves to sleep with women he picks up at bars. Tim had made it clear before in many other songs that he dispises himself. "It's like masochism." Yes, I may see a bit calous, but doesn't that make me more qualified to understand Tim's intent? |

This song seems to describe an ecstasy roll. "My Body's moving all on it's own" when I roll I cannot sit still. "A foreign spirit took my place" You aren't like you normally are during the high, you're a new person. "Its eyes are dull" Dialating pupils. "It's riding my pulse" your pusle races. "How could i resist it's all i've wan- ted now i guess now i've got it. why it happened, i don't know hope this doesn't last forever" descibribes the comedown, you loved the roll and everything that happened, but nothing was for real, and you hope the comedown depression doesn't last forever. |
