Bob Marley and the Wailers – Stir It Up Lyrics 18 years ago
Ooooh, I LOVE this song. *melts into a puddle* I personally think of it as a song about love and seduction, with just a little bit of sexual innuendo thrown in. ;-) Bob is TEH MAN OMGYES. heh!

The Beatles – Girl Lyrics 19 years ago
Love this song. =) I agree with the people who say that just because the Beatles used drugs and were pretty major figureheads in the "hippie movement" does not mean that every song they wrote contained references to drugs.

This song describes conflicted emotions over a relationship, and it was certainly fuel for my John crush back when I was a teenager. (Yes, I was one of the wierdos who DIDN'T have posters of the latest boyband up in her room, but rather, photos of John. heh.) Now that I'm a little older, there are more things I notice about this song that I love about it ... such as, as somebody already mentioned, the Greek-style guitar work. =)

All in all, simply the Beatles being brilliant. ;-)

Rammstein – Amerika (English) Lyrics 19 years ago
It's not necessarily anti-American politics (Rammstein have stated time & time again that they dislike being pinned down politically), but it's definitely a satire of America, and what it has come to represent to those who aren't American -- "This is not a love song." It even satirizes the American attitude on language through the use of English lyrics in the chorus and on the bridge.
