This has some of the must painful lyrics I've even heard... but in a good way. Its saying if we live without tears we'd be truly happy... all this stuff happens because we're sad... I can't put into words what this song means to me. I can't believe no one else commented on this song. |

Ok... I heard this song then imediately thought of the girl that I like. She likes this guy who likes this girl. Love squares anyone. I told her she should perform this song. She told me she did. I just knew she would have been singing this to him.

Geez, people who have commented here have most likely not heard the song. You can hear the emotion. I hear someone who badly wants to believe in God, something, but questions if God is so powerful why do bad things like tsunamis,friends dying too young in fires, the rich getting richer and the poor getting poor continue to go on.
"The people that you made in your image...see them fighting on the street, because they can't make opinions meet.... about God...I can't believe in you."
If you haven't heard the original i suggest you do. That version has a young child reading their letter to god. You're blown away that a child is asking these questions. Both versions are on the soundtrack of my life. |
