it's about not going with the flow, doing what you want, and being different. this girl doesnt dress and look like 'paper dreams' - the girls we see in magazines. i think being yourself is much much cooler. reminds me of a special someone :-) xx this is my favourite kooks song, along with 'i want you back'. |

i think this song's about two people who are the bestest friends, but they're so close they cant be together because it'll ruin their freindship. i guess thats ironic cause whatever happens, 'when i need a friend its still you'. maybe anyway |

i dont believe in god, but this is the most amazing song. it still gets at me, and when you are heartbroken or in love, its a bit of a mind-fuck. this song is so sweet and chilling at the same time. i think everyone can relate to this. the melody is just so moving. only garth brookes could come up with this. |

I can't believe more people havn't posted stuff about this song. I think this is one of Badly Drawn Boy's best songs. When I feel crap I put this song on, crank up the volume and it always makes me feel better, or at least reassured; I think that's the message of the song. |
