Don't know if anyone mentioned this.. but for you guys who think it has to do with cocaine. Danzig doesn't drink booze, let alone use cocaine, so it would be pretty weird ass for him to write a song about cocaine. Besides that, this is DANZIG... what do you think he writes about? |

about suicide i think.. "would you let it go" means would you let your life go.. and about dying an ascending to something darker and more powerful "if you want the power, than let it flow through" unbelievable song.. very powerful. |

I don't think it's about rape... "girl, let's climb too high" sounds too much like he's asking her.. if he were raping her it probably wouldn't have those lyrics. But I do think it's about having sex.. |

I used to think this song sounded a little bit like a demonic possession song (because of who sings it) but now that I watched the other video I think it might be more like, seeing all the horrible stuff that goes on in the world, and a person can just get completely hopeless... and there's just nothing you can do about it... i think this song is also about an impending suicide: "gotta leave before I live to regret it" "keep thinking of suicide" kinda like a suicide note in a song or something.. |

about a mortal choosing evil and love with a demoness... even though he knows it'll kill him "give me infinity's kiss" or perhaps she can make him immortal.. although I don't think he'd be a human anymore.. he'd probably turn into some kind of demon. |

It's about Temptation. Danzig singing as a demon offering "flames", power or whatnot...
Also I'm pretty sure it's "God of light shines on me" not "got a light" but it's hard to tell from the recording.. does it say that in the CD jacket? |

To me this is a love song between a human and a demon. "crying blood and tears" is what a demon does. Danzig has also explored this topic in other songs: Lilin, Her Black Wings, She Rides, and probably some others that I'm frogetting. It's cool that the song sounds a bit like one of those old school love songs, yet has such a dark premise. |
