Journey – Only The Young Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I just turned 22 and this song makes me feel old... |
P.O.D. – Revolution (feat. Phil Keaggy) Lyrics | 17 years ago |
This song kicks ass. Great opening line. |
Agalloch – Not Unlike the Waves Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I agree it does produce a beautiful aymosphere. I have NO idea what this song is about but I really like those lyrics. They're so vague. |
Iron Maiden – Remember Tomorrow Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I agree that Opeth's cover is better. This coming from someone who usually enjoys the originals more. |
Novembre – Child Of The Twilight Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I love this song. I have no clue what it's about though. How has no one commented on a single song from this band? These guys put many bands to shame. They have an awesome sound like no other. |
Porcupine Tree – The Creator Has A Mastertape Lyrics | 18 years ago |
It seems to be about someone who raises a family only to kill them all in the end. |
Opeth – Reverie/Harlequin Forest Lyrics | 18 years ago |
OK now I am convinced it is about being stuck in limbo and then finally ending up in hell. If I am right about this then this song is brutal. |
Opeth – Isolation Years Lyrics | 18 years ago |
It seems to be describing a suicide letter left behind by a girl named Rosemary. Probably over someone she loved and who either died or walked out of her life for good. "In isolation She talks about her love And as I read "I'll die alone" I know she was aching" Maybe she didn't want to be alone anymore... |
Opeth – Reverie/Harlequin Forest Lyrics | 18 years ago |
After looking closer I think it is about someone needing a drug to get through their days. Someone who fears reality. |
Opeth – Reverie/Harlequin Forest Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Great song. Is it about being an outcast? I'm never right about these things. |
Opeth – To Rid the Disease Lyrics | 18 years ago |
I agree with you guys. I especially love the piano during the second half of the song. |
Porcupine Tree – The Rest Will Flow Lyrics | 18 years ago |
This one pretty much explains itself: It's about someone who pretends to not have a care in the world, but is actually suffering on the inside for whatever reason. "Stay with me my angel I found you Now I don't feel low All of the rest will flow" This is the part where the person has found something to makes him happy again and as long as he does not lose it he can withstand anything that threatens him. |
Porcupine Tree – Where We Would Be Lyrics | 18 years ago |
This song is so sad to me. I think it is directed at a childhood friend who is being missed by the narrator. He wants to see this person again to catch up on old times and just talk about how life is now. "Strange how you never become The person you see when you're young" This is the part that gets me thwe most because it is so true... |
Dream Theater – Surrounded Lyrics | 18 years ago |
I like how the song comes full circle. I love Dream Theater too. BTW, I have noticed that YtseJam has submitted most of these lyrics. Great job! |
Dream Theater – These Walls Lyrics | 18 years ago |
I agree with everyone of your words. Another good Dream Theater song. I believe this song describes me in every way... "Tear down these walls for me!" |
Dream Theater – The One Who Help to Set the Sun Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Kevin Moore plays a beautiful intro. My favorite song on "When Dream and Day Unite." |
Dream Theater – Losing Time / Grand Finale Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Is it about a girl who has amnesia? |
Dream Theater – Through Her Eyes Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Great song. I really enjoy Dream Thater's soft songs. ^_^ |
Dream Theater – The Root of All Evil Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Yeah, I agree with Hank when he says it has a catchy chorus. I really like the vocal melodies Labrie uses in this song. |
Pink Floyd – Young Lust Lyrics | 19 years ago |
That did sound pretty funny. |
Pink Floyd – Young Lust Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Is it me or is h Mozart on crack? |
Pink Floyd – Young Lust Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Is this guy on crack?^^^^^^^ |
Pink Floyd – Young Lust Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Is this guy on crack?^^^^^^^ |
Pink Floyd – Childhood's End Lyrics | 19 years ago |
I loved this song before, but I love it even more now that I know what it is about. I feel this song and "Time" go very well together. Good question there, dasquien. So has anyone seen La Vallee? |
