@[jpa23245:4835] Thought: the first matter to form from the quark-gluon plasma of the early universe was ionic. Then "recombination" or atomization happens. This releases light associated the the cosmic microwave background, although "turns into sunlight" probably indicates the first stars forming given the language in the rest of this song.
Anyway, when I listen to this song I always think that "she" is the universe. |

I agree naeem9. This is my favorite song (of the first three released) because is reminds me of somebody I love. However, it's my least favorite video (also of the first three) because the director tries to force a political slant into a song that simply doesn't have one. |

I think Nirvana23 is close, P3N1X's thoughts just seem way off, personally.
The second to last verse, in particular, seems to be about how soldiers must make themselves believe that they are in the right, or even doing God's work, to keep from facing the reality of what they do. |
