ok, i guess i'm old but i can acutally remember the original by paul mccartney! personally, i think the original is great and all but i loooooooooove this version so much and the texture of her voice, expecially in the parts "maybe i'm a girl, maybe i'm a lonely girl whos in the middle of something..."
and it fits the oc soooooo perfectly! I would love to know what's happening in the second season because i am in new zealand so we are way behind...i tried to read up on the episodes on the website but it keeps freezing on me like it knows i'm trying to cheat! Bugger. I guess i will have to wait... |

WOW, LETIGREBABE151, i love your interpretation! i don't know if it's what jack meant but who cares! I think if i were a great artist like jack i would understand that people are going to draw their own interpretations and i would just hope that everyone could get something meaningful and useful out of a song instead of wanting to force my exact meaning on everybody! The point is, if it means something to you, and if it helps you, then that is more important than what the artist originally wrote it about...and i thing the great artists would agree that they would rather keep their personal lives personal and let fans find their own meanings! |

I personally love the fact that he included these mini songs like this one and belle in the album....proof that it doesn't have to be 2.5 minutes long to be good! I really like these tidbits....maybe he just wasn't finished yet and maybe he will finish it someday it doesn't matter...the fact is there is way more personality in these than in any pop song on the radio...they would never play this on the radio b/c it doesn't conform to the time standards... |

This is the cutest song....it reminds me of high school kinda love...when nothing else really matters and you can blow off everything to laze around together because "the whole world fits inside your arms.." it's nostalgic for me...life used to be like that....before we had to grow up! I think this nostalgia is the common theme of this album! |
