Slayer – Jesus Saves Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Easily one of my favorite Slayer songs. Eveyone has pretty much said it - this song is about those Christians (or religious people in general, but the song says Christianity) who constantly look to religion for the answer to everything, when really, the answer to everything is in our own free thought, and not some lies that we were taught as youth. |
Otep – Warhead Lyrics | 19 years ago |
He lied, they died Keep the peasants terrified! Haha, awesome lyrics, and an awesome song. Yes, this song is talking about Bush at war. And it is an amazing song at that. Me and my friend chant the second half of the song all the time and everyone gives us crazy stares. Seriously, try walking down a hallway screaming this stuff. It's hilarious. |
In Flames – In Search For I Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Hmm... To me this song is talking about how he has nothing left to keep himself going, but he will offer whatever he has left to whoever he's speaking to in the song. But that's just me... |
In Flames – Bullet Ride Lyrics | 19 years ago |
In this song, the vocalist (Friden) is asking you a series of questions about yourself, such as - "Do you feel anything at all?" "Do you hear steps at the door?" "Do you reckon the smell of...?" "Do you wish to sleep?" "Do you aim for the shadow?" "Do you feel infected" and so forth. And basically, he's saying that if you answer "yes" to these, then it's because the dark binds you, as he clearly says when he states "It's life... the dark that binds you..." |
In Flames – Egonomic Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Hm, well, to me, this song is about how over time, people have slowly denounced their means of though, by simply conforming. |
In Flames – Watch Them Feed Lyrics | 19 years ago |
The drummer is tenacious in this song... Personally, I like it. I haven't really gotten a meaning yet out of it all though - deep lyrics, even though on the surface they're simple |
In Flames – Trigger Lyrics | 19 years ago |
This is absolutely my favorite In Flames song. I own Colony, Clayman, Reroute to Remain, Soundtrack to Your Escape, and the Trigger EP. I absolutely love the melody, as well as the lyrics and meaning of this song I've converted non-metal loving friends into In Flames fans with this song |
