Me and my friend chant the second half of the song all the time and everyone gives us crazy stares. Seriously, try walking down a hallway screaming this stuff. It's hilarious. |

In this song, the vocalist (Friden) is asking you a series of questions about yourself, such as - "Do you feel anything at all?" "Do you hear steps at the door?" "Do you reckon the smell of...?" "Do you wish to sleep?" "Do you aim for the shadow?" "Do you feel infected" and so forth. And basically, he's saying that if you answer "yes" to these, then it's because the dark binds you, as he clearly says when he states "It's life... the dark that binds you..." |
