| I think this song is about beeing seperated from the one person you love and how your life is boring and somehow worthless and all you do is focus on her and how things are for her. and he is waiting and grasping for every little bit of news he gets from her. and he wants her to come back and stay with him. He is looking for something that could make him forget about loneliness and seperation but he can't find a thing that means as much to him so he could forget and he can't even sleep because of his longing for her. | |

I think it's about someone who is unhappy with his/her life because of some bad feelings, maybe unloved or lonely or both and he/she wants to commit suicide or already did. And he/she thinks of how easy things were in childhood and he/she believes in rebirth and he/she goes on a journey back to childhood to begin anew. And he/she realises that people suddenly take care after he/she commited suicide but it's to late to go back because he/she already went on his/her journey. The feeling of lonelyness is "a newborn drowning a lifetime loneliness." and "I've never felt so alone in my life" and the to be unloved could be "Why is the deadliest sin - to love as I loved you?". The travelings is "Gone back in time to bless the child" and this also contains the aspect of advantages of childhood. "The Child bless thee and keep thee forever" This contains these aspects as well. "Given the chance would I return?" this is from my perspective the idea of rebirth and "There's a poison drop in this cup of Man To drink it is to follow the left hand path" stand for the act of suicide. So i think it's about suicide and rebirth and advantages of childhood. |

| The lyrics are somehow wrong. the first chorus is set after the second main part and there are missing some lines after the first chorus. and there are also some wrong words. He's singing "And gonna pay" instead of "It slipped away" in the first main part, but "It slipped away" would be correct in the third. and in the second main part he's singing "with the girl i'd love to kill" instead of "i'd like". | |

I think this song is about a guy, which is in big love with a girl and they have a relationship "For me this is heaven", but he always thinks about what will happen if they split up and so he asks her if she still is in love with him "Can you still feel the butterflies?" to rescue their relationship that is going to end in some way "The time we had now ends " and he's asking himself "If I don't let myself be happy now then when? If not now when? " because he's still in love with her and he don't want to give up. So this song is for sure about ending a relationship. I like this. It's very emotional. |

| I agree that this song is about a female and I agree with some of Julies comments. She's getting away with things, others would get judged or something like that for and that because of her beauty. I think it's obvious that she is good looking. "The pretty pink ribbon" and "the tight little denim" make it obvious.
