I dont care what the credits say, the sound in question is a latin percussion jam block. people care because the song was an excuse for every fucking kid to make another hackneyed reference to infamous blue oyster cult skit on SNL. much to kiddy glee, ferrell came out on stage during QOTSA's SNL performance halfway through and started banging the ol cowbell... yet you can plainly see castillo thunking away on the LP jamblock. the song is good and the album is good, but nothing beats grohl behind the trap. danzig sucked. |

lots of the songs on maladroit were recorded with what sounds like instrumental ideas... then crappy lyrics were added. the lyrics for death and destruction do nothing, they're just typical weezer hoo-ha. the music is what is supposed to be focused on - the song has movement that even some orchestral pieces have a tough time accomplishing. |
