lookdeeper I bet you 10 dollars this isn't his last, lol. "Well Marr we sound so fucking great together and we really click but I'm done making music now." Trust me it ain't their last :D. I don't think any of his songs are directed to some body of fans, no offense but really I find it wierd how so many people try to contort the song meanings so that it is directed toward the body of fans that disliked Good News or whatever. He doesn't really care I think, he just wants to make a pop record. It is quite simple how I know this since he stated it in a magazine interview (Under the Radar to be exact). I really can't see him wasting his talent and a song on an album to something that only the older fans can get. Seriously, someone who is just starting to listen to MM, how would they get "he is trying to send secret messages to his older fans" out of a song? Not attacking just kind of confused why people keep coming up with that conclusion on half of his new songs. |

What the hell. This song is about a robotic messiah. What the fuck is this computer shit I am hearing? Isaac isn't a loser man, he wouldn't do that shit. It is about religion, jesus christ, Xim had it down really good I do not see why you are coming up with your own ideas, even Brock said it is about a robotic messiah. |

First time I heard this I thought I knew what it was. I see it as like, your boss or whoever standing over you with this great deal. Like a promotion or a bonus. Although his plan is to not give it to you, which makes it as your dancing around, or working your ass off, for this promotion you will never get. Seemed to me like it fit. :/ |

Ok. This song sounds really nice, something catchy you can get used to. I loved it when I heard it, just the one thing Isaac could of done is like... Reclaim his unique vocals he always impressed me with. What also I thought was bad, is the whole point of the song. Jesus, Modest Mouse used to open my eyes and see what I haven't thought of. They had such meaning and I respected them for it. Now, I see him just coming out and stating the obvious... Is there someone here who hasn't heard to look for the good in bad situations? It's a good point but.. Do we need to make a song out of it? A SINGLE THAT HOLDS THE ALBUM TOGETHER?
What happened to him? Was he switched with a look-a-like Isaac to fool us? >:(
And to everyone complaining at how they have become big... So the fuck what? It doesn't mean their old songs changed or their new songs are bad, they have just adopted a new sound that a lot of people find catchy. They have progressively changed to capture the eye of more and more people.
But seriously, someone needs to find Isaac, I think he was kidnapped. |

That is my favorite line. It shows how one person can think of friends so expendable. They can always find new people who like them after they stab some people in the back. A wonderful line, a wonderful song, and a really kick-ass album. |

No offence, but people who came on to liking modest mouse on this song are kind of posers. The ones who only like GNFPWLBN and nothing else. This is a good song, a damn good one in fact, but I hate the ones who only like this one. I'm not being stereotypical about this, i'm sure some people who caught on to MM by this song like alotta other albums. Best album ever though is Lonesome Crowded West. |

that was basically his karma for what he had done with the car. Basically it showed he was getting karma back at a slow rate. Karma is basically when you do something harmful or something to someone else, you basically turn around and something happens to you. Or that's kind of insta karma but whatever.
