Anyone ever drank cough syrup, such as Robitussin MAX? Not that it helps this song make any more sence, but if you've tripped on DXM before the thought process of just random things and such is kinda understandable.
If you are gonna try it, or do use it, check out Erowid for safty tips. Kurt Cobain was a big cough syrup user (him and Courtny "the c*nt" met while both on it), it had it's run in the late 80s/early to mid 90s. Alot of good songs were inspired by it.
And I hate cough syrup

To set the record strait: as mentioned in Weird Al's 'Al in the Box', as "torrance21" said, when Kurt was asked by Weird Al, he replied by asking: "Is it going to be about food?"
Secondly, under the Song Parody Law, Weird Al doesn't have to ask for permision, however he does, just to be a nice guy. Infact some artists (Madona) asked him to do a parody.
