Cheap Sex – Fuck Emo Lyrics 19 years ago
I LOVE this song! I can't believe I'm the only one to comment on it! I specifically love how it pokes fun of Emo and how it's become a fucking trend. Look at every little Emo 'boi'; 90-110 lbs, black shaggy hair, and tight girl pants.

I'm sick of Emo music being labeled like this! Fall Out Boy, Taking Back Sunday, and From First to Last are NOT Emo! Listen to some Sunny Day Real Estate or Rites of Spring. Emo music does not mean boys kissing each other, wearing make up and tight pants, and pissing and moaning and crying over every little thing that goes wrong in your life. Emo music is music that speaks to your soul, it's peaceful and tranquil.

FUCK THE TREND OF EMO! Educate yourself.

A Perfect Circle – People Are People Lyrics 19 years ago
Actually, A Perfect Circle is Billy's band. Tool is Maynard's. But still, very good point LanceCook85.

American Head Charge – Loyalty Lyrics 19 years ago
The clown scares me . . . but the song is really really good! I think maybe this song is about someone you . . . or he . . . trusted turning their back on you/him or breaking a promise or something like that, and then the aftermath.

Creedence Clearwater Revival – Lookin' Out My Back Door Lyrics 19 years ago
I love this song so unbelievably much! My dad used to sing it to my when I was a baby, so it holds a lot of sentimental and emotional value to me.

I'm not quite sure what it's all about, but I still think it's a good song.

Slayer – Jesus Saves Lyrics 19 years ago
I listen to Slayer too, but I'm atheist. I can't tell you how many times I get told I'm going to Hell because I'm an atheist. But how can I go to Hell when I don't believe in Heaven, Hell, or God?

HIM – Sweet Pandemonium Lyrics 19 years ago
I agree with quigon_chow, this song holds a similar meaning for me as well.

Drained by the anger and grief
Fazed by the envy and greed
The secret cries for a release
The lucidity hidden deep in sweet pandemonium

This could possible mean that he (Ville) feels drained and empty without someone in his life, and is envious of those around him that do have someone. “The lucidity hidden deep in sweet pandemonium” could mean that when you are in love, or in a serious relationship everything seem more clear and understandable.

I don’t really know if my interpretation on this song is right, but it’s what I think the song means, to me at least.

Ashlee Simpson – Autobiography Lyrics 19 years ago
-I persoanlly luv Ashlee Simpson. I think she's a real artist with some real talent. And I have something to say to all those people bashing her because she lip synced once. First of all lots of artist to it their eintire carrers instead of actually singing *cough, Britney, cough*. Secondly lots of singers have admitted to 'pipping' in pre-recorded tracks for large sporting advents. Like come on, its the national anthem, you should be able to know the words, as many of thsoe artist are afraid of forgetting. Singing the US natioanl anthem is a big honour I persumbe, as I'm CDN, and don't really know. But from what I can tell of American's saying how great and such theri country is.... just learn the words for it. Also, she messed up on SNL. Let me tell you... its been slipping the last couple of years.... so the pubicity defintiy helped out SNL. They got U2 the next week, b/c U2 wanted to prove their are true singers out there. Bless U2, there great, but no way would have SNl ever have gotten them without Ashlee's little mistake.
Hopefully this makes sense and its totally off topic. -

Wow, I can see someone passed second grade grammar. Just more proof that Ashlee Simpson fans are illiterate. And not all artists - actual artists - lip sync. What would be the point? It would just prove that they aren’t the real deal; which Ashlee obviously is! Did anyone see the Orange Bowl? What a catastrophe. And ‘no way would have SNL ever have gotten them [U2] without Ashlee’s little mistake.’ Are you fucking insane? They’re U2!! One listen to the Joshua Tree, and you would agree, but you stray far away from any band that possess even an inkling of musical talent, so I doubt you’ve ever even heard of that album.

And since this is about what the song means, I will contribute. I think this song, just like everyone else says, is about how no one should believe what they hear about Ashlee, until they hear it come from her mouth.
