I think when I first heard the line "This God that I worship, this demon I blame, conspire as one exactly the same" I thought it had something to do with the duality of religion in general and how people seem to thank god for the good and blame satan for the bad, when ultimately they are both on the same team, and one would not exist without the other. And calling just that thought blasphemous might support that. |

Man, the last part of that song just kills me...it sucks that so many times we give up so much of ourselves for someone in hopes that they will see you in a different light...but it never happens...and we still keep doing it over and over. Beautifully sad song... |

I haven't heard this song, but the lyrics are really good! From personal experience, it's amazing how differently people treat you when you loose weight, or something like that. I remember Matt saying at a show that he used to be a chubby kid, so it might be about that. It kind of makes you not trust people. |
