Because obviously you don't really know what you're talking about. Unless of course you're talking about Vietnam, in which you might have a point, but I doubt you're talking about that. If your referring to the War in Iraq, then I'm sorry but you're severly mistaken. Obviously hundreds upon thousands of soldiers die every day. Just about everyone sent there. All those people that supposedly "come back" are fucking liars. They were never there CAUSE THEY'D BE DEAD. DUH! What do they think we're stupid? Grow a brain. |

If you think about it, there's a line that says that the strangefolk came in camouflage, kind of reminiscent of army people. I didn't think too much in a manner of metaphors in the jewels that were in the cave before, but after reading some of the meanings, I thought about oil and it does make sense. The happy folk are all around the world living blissfully in a less greedy less violent and excessful world. The happy people are killed by the strange folk and the jewels are mined until inevitably the monkey decides to punish the strangefolk, but also take the happy people with them. I think the monkey's head also is a bit of a symbol of war, and how it doesn't just take the strange folk and those who oppose them, but hte innocent happy people as well. It's a very interesting narrative, and the two sung verses sound very... eerie in the song, and it makes it soudn very good. Easily my favorite song by them in this album. |

Second favorite song. It's really nice sounding. I like the whole album and the sound of it. This is one of the songs that has a rather reminiscent feel (it reminded me a bit at the beginning of some of the calmer Toxicity songs) and then goes on to a rather funny rant about being on the radio. It does seem to be a song particularly about the trend in pretty dumb radio songs that inevitably are chosen to make videos just to boost the popularity of one song. It would be nice if they made a video for this song ;) |

My favorite song on the album, it's crazy and out there. Bought the CD and I think it's the first song that just caught me off guard and I loved right away. The whole of the new album is pretty cool sounding. =) |

| The first time I really looked at the lyrics of this song I think it reminded me of democracy. Especially after hearing a song like idiots are taking over. Mostly some of the words that popped in there would give me the idea of that, such as revolution. | |
