i kinda agree with you guys, i always get the impression that theyve all come from a party and its the morning after when you feel crap and begin to realise stuff. it reminds me of whos afraid of virgina woolf when huge secrets have been revealed the night before or the great gatsby where everyone is so so rich and makes a complete fool of themselves. I think there is a friendship love hate thing going on, with one of them realising the other ones faults on the ride home. dont no thou ive never really liked tori amos but ive never really listened to anything by her but i really love LOVE this song theres something bout the lyrics that i relate to. |

i love this song i jsut got their album and listening to this one all the time. at the mo i can relate to it so much coz im leaving home for 6 months and i think the songs about being young and changing and being scared i love the lyrics because there so good without even realising that there so good!! hee for example:

nobodys commented on this??? i LOVE this song its sooo jolly hee great for driving home . ive only just thought about what it means, could be how everywhere he goes hes always trying to please everyone and everyones watching him, trying to get him in trouble but when hes at home none of this happens, hence the 'home is where i wanna be' he feels way mor comftable? could be the pressures of fame? dont no but it makes me smile everytime i hear it and all the instrumentation is fab too including the trumpets at the end-an instrument just made to be laughed at :D. |

Neway i really like this song and the fact he still keeps on making great songs. I saw eltonjohn on tv saying that this song meant ' its means basically i used to be the main express and were not anymore' i think thats kindof a given in the lyircs hee but i think it could be about anything really heartbreak, drugs, realising that you were something special and now your not. i personally think its someone reflecting on their life and how theyve grown up and the things in the past dont really mean anything coz he didnt know what he does now. I love the beginning verse, 'You may not believe it But I don't believe in miracles anymore
