This song kinda hints to me. I aspire to be a famous guitarist one day it's telling me that no matter how famous I will be I should still remember those that I loved and always will somewhere inside. I will always remember my girlfriend whenever I listen to this song and I just can't stop thinking about her. This song teaches me a lot. Mark Knopfler is a great guitarist and song writer. This I must say is thee most overrated song in all of history. It's not even that great. The only reason people listen to it is because it's so influential to the music we listen to today. It's crap. The whole band is overrated. The only reason they have the attention is that Kurt had to kill himself. If that wouldn't have happened then they would not have the publicity at all. I would find them a lot more respectable if they weren't so overrated, overplayed, and overkilled. I'm a musician but who cares if I die? Nobody. But if I happened to release an album in the past month before my death then more people will buy it. Death sells and you all just bought it. |
