this song is very pretty.
i think that raving lunatic is correct with his/her meaning.
i thiink that in the first stanza or verse, he is describing how he did not feel as if he deserved her time, because she was busy and away, and in the second stanza, when she comes back to see her children, and her car breaks down they were so happy to see her, this is exemplified by "we touched her hair" which normally children touch thier mothers hair and play with it, and it is is a very intimate act. but they dont have that chance as thier mother is far away.... it is just very touching and i guess something i never thought of. very pretty. |

yeah. so i just watched the video for this song and i really like that at the begining of the song the shots are relitively lethargic and slow. but when it speeds up ("so everybody put your best suit or dress on") the shots start going faster with the old guys playing cards, not hitting the beats just moving faster. |
