Metro Station – Kelsey Lyrics | 16 years ago |
^ apparently she's a dog lover. |
Raine Maida – Yellow Brick Road Lyrics | 16 years ago |
what I believe he's getting at with "If I knew now what I knew then" is that when you're a kid, you thing you know everything about everything. Thing seem more simple when you "know everything", so I think he's saying if he knew everything now like he did when he was a kid, he'd have all the answers and everything would be easy. |
Queens of the Stone Age – Sick, Sick, Sick Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I like how the guitar sounds like an alarm. god i love qotsa. |
Yeah Yeah Yeahs – Warrior Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I went camping last this weekend and this story perfectly describes what happened: out boat got stuck out in the middle of the lake and it began to thunder and lightning and hail and all that nastyness, so I got the boat closest to the shore as I could, jumped into the freezing cold water with giant waves, and pulled the boat along the shore until we got back to our dock. Even as I was towing my friend and the boat along, I exclaimed "MAN, I FEEL LIKE SUCH A WARRIOR!" the best part was I didn't hear this song until a few hours later when my friend figured it would work eprfectly with what just happened. Especially the river part. |
Incubus – Deep Inside Lyrics | 17 years ago |
oh wow, my version's no longer than 2 and a half, it seems I've been duped by limewire once again! thanks. |
Moby – Extreme Ways Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I remember the night of my brother's grad we were in the backyard taking pictures (he's 2 years older than me). Anyway, he left in the limo with his friend and I needed to grab something from his room, so I went in and he had left his stereo on it, and the moment I walked into the room this song started playing. it fit so perfectly to the night, and I'll explain why. My brother's life, and the family, was changing in an extreme way. My brother was grown up, he was finishing something he had been doing for the past 13 years of his life. It symbolizes him moving on the bigger things, to truly beginning his life. that's what this song will always mean to me. |
Incubus – Deep Inside Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I'm a little bummed! the song I have doesn't go "I know where we are, where the fuck are we" or anything to that nature! maybe it does and I just can't hear, where abouts does it say it? |
Incubus – Earth to Bella (Part I) Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I was about to say how easy it wa on guitar, hunglikeyora87. The accoustic part is great to learn if you're not the greatest guitar player (ie, me) in fact, I went to an incubus concert on the 5th and brandon breaks out the ol' acocustic and him and mike play. Incidentally, he stopped at the beginning and said "wait, mike, I want to start again for 2 reasons: 1) you caught me off guard and 2) I mess up the words." |
Incubus – Dig Lyrics | 17 years ago |
this song could go two ways for me: when his head starts to get big with all the fame they're getting, someone needs to bring him back down to earth, or it sounds like friendship during an addiction, and how he's going to need help getting over it. I know that's not what it's about, but being an addict myself it felt like it was hitting home. |

Incubus – Just A Phase Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Does anyone else think the beat of this song sounds like it should be in the prom scene of an old movie? That what I thought of when I heard it. |
Syntax – Pride Lyrics | 17 years ago |
why does it so happen that every song I hear and like has been on the OC? I saw this on CSI and I was moved by it as soon as the first note hit my ears. |
Theory of a Deadman – Hell Just Ain't The Same Lyrics | 18 years ago |
this song is way too good to be as short as it is but who am I to argue? it's fantastic. |
Matthew Good – In A World Called Catastrophe Lyrics | 18 years ago |
... is there really no comments about this song? I don't know what it's about but why are there no comments? I'm appalled! |
Yeah Yeah Yeahs – Gold Lion Lyrics | 18 years ago |
I was at a party a few days ago and someone put this on repeat and I had only heard part of it once and I wasn't listening at that time. Now in all my drunken glory I was going "ooo ooo, oo ooo, ooo ooo, ooo ooo!" and I got everyone else going. that is where my love for this song begins. someone told me it was about ecstasy, cause "gold lion" is a type of ecstasy. of course, the las vegas thing seems far more likely. |
Matchbox Twenty – Push Lyrics | 18 years ago |
I know this isn't what it means, it's just what I think about when I hear this song: The girl in this song is so in love with a man that she wants him in her life just so if she wanted to, she could take him for granted and push him around. |
Finley Quaye – Dice Lyrics | 18 years ago |
My friend was the the first person to show me this song, I'm not really a big OC fan. As soon as I heard it I knew it was going to be one of those songs that stick with you for a while, ya know? It isn't even really my normal taste in music, either. But it's definetly one of my very favorite songs. |
Our Lady Peace – In Repair Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Well maybe it's because my friend's dad was recently in the hospital that I think this way, but it sounds like someone's having some sort of operation that's very dangerous. "Well it's good to know that you'll be okay I've been waiting for this And I'll be there to sit while you pray" Someone had some sort of heart problem and they have been waiting for this very dangerous operation to help them. This patient is optimistic about what will happen, but another person (say it's a family member) is told by doctors not to be hopefully because things may not turn out right, so they just sit there while the patient prays. "No one's blaming me I'm not supposed to wait When they open up your heart" The family member tried to help the person prevent this heart problem, and it's basically just telling the family member not to wait for this person because there is a chance when they try to fix there heart problem they will die. "I have been good I understood And like a machine they'll fix you From the start I'm in repair The life that we share I know that I'll be lost but we're always in repair" The doctors will do what they can and the family member understands this, but they will have the help the patient to get back to normal and it will always be a struggle for them. "Lock the door And it's good to know that you'll drive away From this car crash nightmare And I'll be there to help you again" The patient operation went okay and they're starting to get away from this nightmare they went through, and the family member is there to help them through every moment of it. "There's no danger we're just Killing time again Until they order up new parts" Tha patient is going to be okay but they're just waiting until the hospital gives him a transplant or a pacemaker of sorts. Anyway, that's my view. |
Green Day – Strangeland Lyrics | 18 years ago |
So this is one of my favorite Green Day songs. |
Johnny Cash – Ring of Fire Lyrics | 18 years ago |
I believe June was going through her divorce fomr her first husband at the time so she wasn't technically married, but Johnny sure was. And June and June first had the idea after the first time anything happened between her an Johnny ... at least I think so. |
Johnny Cash – It Ain't Me Babe Lyrics | 18 years ago |
What? no comments? Anyway, it's pretty much self explanitory "I want someone, but not you" At least that's what I think. |
Econoline Crush – You Don't Know What It's Like Lyrics | 18 years ago |
I think this song is about rape. The girl in the song was raped previously and can't have a relationship because of this, and because it's such a terrible thing and no one could really understand, she tells him "you don't know what it's like". When you're raped you feel alone and insignificant and like nothing, so that's what I think it's about. |
Hedley – I'd Hear Heaven Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Wow first comment I really love this song the guitar in it is really sweet I think it's about getting close to someone who doesn't want to get close to you but thats just my opinion |
Driver – She Laughed At Me Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Woot! First comment!! Well, I think this song is obviously about a break up And I think he wasn't very into the relationship And maybe they fought a lot And he didn't really let her into his life in a way And when he asks her to come back She just laughs That's my thoughts P.S. I love Driver, they're awesome |
Sum 41 – Pieces Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Does anyone else think the second verse of this song sound like he's thinking of suicide "This place is so empty. My thoughts are so tempting. I don't know how it got so bad. Sometimes it's so crazy but nothing can save me but it's the only thing that I have." I dunno, maybe it just me. |
