i think this song is about the whole music bizz... becoming known(famous) "Oh I don't need an education Just a microphone's intoxication." a lot of young artists end up dropping out of school..(avril, etc...) "Who are you to know my story Who are you to read my book" You become famous(known), ppl know about you and who you are, and it probably freaks you out. to go with that comment about the song dealing with eatting disorder issues: the "Soups on hot, feeling like i'll do or die. I can't throw up, don't think i even want to try" people with an eatting disorder(anorexia, bulimia, ednos), will eat soup because it fills you up, but it's not high in calories. |
