According to Rolling Stone, this song is about George W. Bush.

It's very obvious, people.

Has no one heard of hyperbole? Jesus.

In any case, living in Los Angeles, I totally relate to this song.

Thursday – Counting 5-4-3-2-1 Lyrics 18 years ago
This song is amazing. Thursday constantly has the themes of leaving, dealing with the regular frustrations of life... etc and this is nothing different. It's so melancholy.

I don't get why people think Thursday's lost their "edge" or have become more "mainstream". They're amazing, humble, despite being on a major label (which isn't bad at all if you're dealing with the right people) and the fact that they're trying to push the limits of their music while making THEMSELVES happy is something to be admired. I mean, whatever. The music is still good. Saw them last night and all the new stuff sounded great.

Arcade Fire – Haiti Lyrics 19 years ago
Régine Chassagne's parents fled from Haiti in 1960, and this is her tribute to her country. Beautiful, especially the French. It really is. "All the tears and all the bodies bring about our second birth."

This album is gold.
