this is a beautiful song. i think it's talking about a boy and girl, and they are having problems but he wants to work through it and he is asking her whether or not she would like to follow him on the path to help reconstruct their relationship.

I believe its about a guy who, like mascardo said, needs to fill a void in his life by doing things that bring him instant gratification. But he reliezes that what he is doing may be wrong because the sexual act that he is doing with this girl is entirely empty. And this makes him feel even worse and even more alone. It's kind of an endless circle. |

It's basically talking about a boy that finds himself in a relationship with a girl that is really hard to read. She vaugly shows him her true colors but in a very suble way: "With your veil that's so thin" so he is constanly asking questions. But he is scared to ask them: "I'll feel my way, I'll underplay
All my curiosity and hide
All the questions in my skin"
Because he either 1. likes the fact that she is a mystery, or:

I like this alot:

I agree with you. To me, the paper plants are refering to something fragile that you must tend to and take care of. But he or she didn't, and balloons flew out their window.. meaning that the oppertunity was lost. And he or she knew this was all going to happen sooner or later.
