yeah its a 15 track CD, but say they put 5 filler tracks...most Tool songs are 8 minutes long, so its longer than youre avg cd. You still get like 60 minutes of actual song |

To me, this song is about whatever I want it to be about when I'm in a particular mood. If I'm anger, this song is about hate. If I'm happy, it's about enjoying life. If I'm curious, it's about branching out. This is an absolutely fabulous song. |

Call me crazy, but I think this is about a crow's view of the world. It seems logistic to me, though. In the video there are all the crows...now think.
"From up here the city lights burn, like a thousand miles of fire." --Crows view of the city from a rooftop
And not to mention the numerous mentions of rooftops, and the fact that crows are kind of outcasts to the world (just a ghost, to the world) so it's understandable why the crows would want a wave to swallow every inch of the city.
The metaphorical meaning would relate to people. |
