There's another version? Is the music differnt or the lyrics? From either this or the Fallen one that is. And I agree atleast about this one. The music sounds much better on this, spacier like old Evanescence compared to most fallen tracks. |

It's rather sad that so many people don't realize that Amy did not write this. On the fallen credit thing, does it even state that it was written only by the drummer? Anyways, where can I get a copy of Soul Embraced version? I've looked everywhere and couldn't find it. And, I was looking at some site, and it said something about jesus crist being a christians tourniquet. Like it said something about it meaning saving through blood.Anyone else heard something like that? |

The piano on this version sounds so much better, like spacyer. Very awesome. Plus, you can hear her vocals much better on this version. And personaly, I thinksome of their songs are more about finding herself than relationships. *shrugs* Just a thought. |

I think this song is kind of about enjoying your depression. Some of AFI's songs are like that. Even to quote one song, which I dont' know the name of off the top of my head, "Give me the Disorder I adore." I also have another view. It's about being suicdal. To the point that you can't control it. Suicide haunts you everyday, even in your dreams. |

She doesn't look like Avril. Katy's hot, Avrils just disturbing. Anyways. I love this song. Probally my favorite besides teaching myself to dream. I agree with everythign you all have said about the song. She's in pain, and she feels as though society has left her, and she can get help from no one. She's forced to retreat to a world all her own. And, since someone mention Thirteen(<33 it), I do think this song is perfect for it. Thirteen is a movie everyone who has a problem can relate too. This song talks about some of them. |

Sorry, if I'm being rude or whatever, but they're not, and when people call bands goth that arn't I get very pissed. *glares at hottopic* I love Jack Off Jill though, so don't get me wrong, it's just I'm so sick of meeting people who say they're into goth rock, and then have them tell me that Marilyn Manson and Cradle Of Filth are their favorite bands. I can even mention The Sisters Of Mercy, one of the geratest goth bands ever, and they won't even have heard of them. Sorry again everyone.. Just gad to say that. ---------------------------------------------------------- I think this song is about Jessicka. I think it's about her old self, thinking about her now. I know my idea is differnt than most of yours, but I think mine makes sense as well. In my mind, when I hear this song, I picture Jessicka in front of a mirror. Her releftion singing this to her. |

I've never thought about it before, so I'm just thinking this up of the top of my head. I think it's about someone who's on the 'darker' side, and meets someone who's more pure and admirable. They fall in love, but the first person ends up rejected eventually. The first person then feels captured. They think the other person owns them, and they realize that the one they loved wasn't so pure and perfect after all.. |
