reminds me so much of my high school life, sitting there at football games with my now fiancee wrapped in a blanket even though he was out of school, and although I know he is singing about church choir, that line kinda gets me a bit too, as choir was one of the main parts of my high school life. Although I certinally have funny memeories of sitting there at church with one of my best friends having writen conversations on bulitians, silently giggling over some guy or class or the pastors ear hair LOL. I still miss high school like crazy and cry almost every time I hear this song, especially with the music video, it really makes me think of the times I spent with friends back in HS (class of 2003 baby!). I also love how he incorporates how songs take you back, I've always been that way with songs, but music has always been my life. |

I do!!!!! lol, Some of my friends and I listened to this song a couple of hours before our high school graduation and were like damn, I guess this does fit, no more high school dances for us! So in that sence this song makes me sad, I really miss high school but its a great fun song about life in the 50's lol althoug like we were talking about, it still applies just not called "hops" any more lol. |

People this is a novelty song if you dont like it dont listen to it and but leave those of us that think its a fun song alone! geez! This is one of those really stupid songs that is just plain fun. The band director at the college i went to had a great parody of this song "I'm too sexy for my baton, too sexy for band uniforms....." ect it was and is great, cracks every one up, gotta love it. |

Actually Skycat, its not all that hard of a song to play, its just very flowing but the way it flows isnt all that terriably hard to play :D. Yes this is a fun song to sing loud in crowds, every one just seems to have to join in. I got to see them in concert a few years ago and they left the stage for a bit with out having sung this song, and every one in the audience started singing it, they came back out and were like "So every one now its time for the frog song!" That was one hell of a fun concert, gosh, I would have been in like eighth grade at the time and have been out of high school for two years, so its been a while but WOW lol. |
