What I see in this song is the story of a man waking up from a coma, after 10-15 years. He was put there from a car accident with the person he loves. After waking up, he's so excited to be alive, to be awake. He just runs around for joy and starts to learn about everything that's happened. Then he learns that the woman he loved didn't make it in the accident. He's devistated and torn apart. Such a happy moment in his life taken away so fast. Again. As the song ends, I see him saying goodbye to her at her grave, looking up at the sky praying she's safe and happy now. Such an emotional song. |
