I gather that this is goodbye. They will probably release one more album very soon and be done with tool for the foreseeable future. A lot of people think it sucks and its a big let down but I think its pretty hard to digest, but Tool's grand finale last two is gonna sound weird and take some people years before they really feal it. to me rosetta stoned is one of the best drug songs ever, wings pt.2 is the beautiful tool ever, it gives me chills when I here give me my wings. The album is a good listen, very titilating. oh, and a friend gave me a copy a week before it came out and I just couldn't stand to listen to it for fear it might not be 100% perfect quality. |

Hi, so for the first comment on the song, I think an example of one of the meanings of the song is that the leaders of the country and leaders all around the world including the fore fatherswere slave drivers doing more bad than good. The line that made me think that was "Remember where you came from? Remember what you are?" What do you think? |

the line between democrat and republican might be the line or at least one of the lines hes talking about. Kerry to be more specific is the one who really dissapointed the dems and "as far as I have gone, i knew wich side I'm on" says he used to know he was rooting for the democrat but Kerry is not a leader like Kennedy but a puppet like Bush. Kerry was even in a "secret society" in Yale called the Order of Death which Bush was also in the same group wich is usually just for republicans who are more loyal to eachother and the all mighty dollar than ethics or moral values. |

HEY! this is a great song! the lyrics "flip flop flip flop flip" should be the part of the song you love. his lyrics aren't usually that, well, flip floppy. And hes refering to flip floppers. DUUUHHH! Our presidential election has become a joke. Kerry just played to the crowd he would say whatever you wanted to hear. He was a republican posing as a democrat. You can tell because in the year or so leading up to that election he always voted on the left, but over his whole career he voted completely on the right. Bush won because people were convinced that marriage should only be between a man and a woman, and of course the voter fraud that got him elected the first time but was talked about less this time. This album was written during the '04 election and is very political. It kicks ass. FRANK & BUKKAKE!! |

Hey! whats up my buddys at 'SongMeanings'? I love this website. I think the emotions expressed in this song are just what trent was feeling at the time he wrote it partly due to TVT. The whole album (exept for the last 2 songs wich is why I think they were seperated ) has a theme like the reality of this world is depressing. Everyone wants to rip everyone else off,. The line "I wish there was something real, something true" says there is not much to this world, its hard to find pure pleasure. I found some pleasure when I saw the "Broken movie" I downloaded it from Limewire wich I got free from Limewire.com, you should download it too. If you want, post your email address, I will contact you and hook up a copy on dvd. It a great attempt at being THE most fucked up, gory clip you will ever see. It's great. You can get a good copy and you can get a bootleg copy wich has such low quality you can't make everything out but it seems more real and disturbing. Hey Faaip, nice Rage line. Well, I just got 3 tracks from "With Teeth" way before the album came out and I'm enjoying the fuck out of them. I also just paid $140 for a ticket to see them in chicago since they sold out in 1 minute. l\lll/l |

I think this song applies to the citizens of countries such as saudi arabia and iraq that are die hard religious AND have a corrupt gov't, those people are way bigger sheeps than most americans. "poison devils" is drugs. Lets see, sheep follow blindly and you count sheep when your asleep so there are lots of sleeping sheep? OH and insider trades on 9-11 profitted over $15 Billion. |
