First verse, "in my chase" should be "images." Beautiful, haunting song. I first saw the music video on Nocturnal State and was so captured by it that I immediately downloaded it. ^^ It's so touching. |

This song is just... unfathomably beautiful. The piano, the vibes, the orchestra, Vanessa's voice, it's all so beautiful put together. When I first heard it, I thought it represented someone being blinded by lies, by false thoughts about the world. Someone who was pessimistic about everything. Then someone showed them that there was more. My favorite part of the whole song was "As the sun shines through and pushes away and pushes ahead Fills the warmth of blue and leaves a chill instead and i didn't know that I could be so blind to all that is so real And as illusioned eyes i see there is so much to be revealed." The flute solo in the background just captivated me. This song is definitely one of my favorite songs. (( Isn't it "and as illusion dies I see there is so much to be revealed"? =/ I dunno, that's just what I'd always thought it said, lol. Correct me if I'm wrong.)) |
