This is about Elliott Smith. You haven't heard this song until you hear it live. It is absolutely amazing. It's such a sad song but when they play it live it becomes so happy and everyone is clapping and smiling and it is wonderful, it feels like christmas. |

her voice sounds so sweet in this song, like candy sweet. I wonder if it's autobiographical since she says "a baby girl named jennifer" |

Bright Eyes – Lua Lyrics

this is one of the saddest songs I've ever heard. The only other song that effects me like this would be Elliot Smith's Needle In The Hay. The reason this song is so sad is because its so raw. so honest. its real. |

Weezer – El Scorcho Lyrics

Me and my friend are having an arguememnt over this song. Can some one please clear this up?
In the beginning after the gargle and "El Scorcho" does he say, "Hay Caramba!" or " Hay Coron!" I think it's the first one but she swears its the second one because she speaks spanish and I don't so therefore that makes her Jesus Christ. (her spanish isn't even that good.)
I heart pinkerton. |

Dashboard Confessional – Warmth of the Sand Lyrics

I hate how DC is popular now! It sucks becuase now all the girls who wear heels to school and guys who work at abercrombie think they are doing something innovative by listening to them, when DC has been happening and hanging for a while. But I do adore this song! And at the end in the background a female whispers what sounds like "Alicia" which is my name. Listen to it. |

Mates of State – Everyone Needs an Editor Lyrics

I always thought they were talking about mistakes and critics. "I feel right all the time/ I am right all the time" but in reality she is not because everyone needs an editor. In other words everyone makes mistakes. But maybe thats just me. |

The Shins – New Slang Lyrics

This song is beautiful. When I heaar it I want to cry, it just feels you with such an incoherent and unexplaniable feeling, it's amazing. I love the way the song is used in the movie garden state: the way natalie portman hands him her headphones like she is handing over her soul and giving him a key to her world. This song does change your life. |

Say Anything – Woe Lyrics
|
The song partially about a girl who has loveless sex. Thats why the "she said 'i can't get laid in this town/ without these pointy fucking shoes/ my feet are so black and blue, and so are you" part is there. The first time I heard this song was at a dashboard confessional concert and chris carrabba did a cover of some of it right after "Remember to Breathe" |
