Puscifer is not a serious job like Tool is and APC were. He purposefully wrote the "V is for Vagina" album so he could let him self go a little and not write such emotionally strenuous songs like on "10,000 Days". He says all the work with Tool has drained him and he wanted to let go and NOT have to deal with deep emotional and social and religious ideas. This song is exactly what that is. He wrote a nice, pretty, fun, sexual and obvious song, he didn't want a load of heavy stuff with it. And all this crap that you're reading into it is going against the idea of the album. Read up about numerology, listen to "viginti tres" and then you might start to get a good idea about Maynard's opinions on READING TOO MUCH INTO NOTHING. |

He admires the way she, through 10,000 days of a living death, did not falter or betray her faith. He disagrees with her beliefs totally, but he respects her with all his heart. Incredible. |

This song seems to be one of the classic "...wha'?" kind of songs where literally anyone could have any meanign they wanted for it. Personally I see it as almost a love song, where the narrator is so attached to one thing that he is supported by it and guided by it. This could be their country (like the sultan of Jambi did until he died), a person (Maynard's mother/son, whichever suits you) or a religious figure (which is viable, although I don't really see it). Whichever you choose, understand the fact that Maynard has shed his wisdom on us, and we need to appreciate, understand, accept and then implimetn whatever we learn. (PS seeing them live!!!!!!!!) |

This is not the wall being taken down but being reinforced. The writing, I think, him seeing people coming around, and him seeing possibility to get wasted to numb himself and he's saying fuck you, I don't need anything I'm snug behind my wall. His protection from pain is not chemically induced. Waters is really clean, he only really drinks. This is him being thankful of his wall. |

Right... So.... Wow, you're all really wrong. Erm The Wall is the epitome of the perfect concept album, it is a story. A story not about this fantastical character "Pink", or about drugs, or Syd. It's nothign specific. The album is telling us how Roger Waters' wall was built. It's everything, Syd's madness, fans hassling him and looking up to him, is mother, women wanting to fuck him, teachers at school when he was a child, his father dying. Waters wrote this album about his wall that he hides behind because he cannot handle the outside because it isn't easy. Things like these posts, all the misinterpretations of his work are yet another brick in his wall, so cut it out. |

The Wall was written almost purely by Waters and is about his total lack of being able to communicate with people around him. His "Wall" was a way of hiding from the world. It is that Wall that comes down in this song and the rest of it is Gilmour's dispair of how Waters just rejected him and the whole band and hid off behind his Wall. The Division Bell is all about this hopelessness of the way Pink Floyd disintergrated around Waters and the way Gilmour, Wright and Mason felt about the contempt Waters held for them. It is a truely sad story. |

This song is incredible. Firstly the singing as amazingly. The drumming, bass and piano give it a really chilled out jazzy quality that APC song rarely have. It is so rhythmic and beautiful, and the vocals sound so amazing. I can't see the way this song links with the rest of the album in the anti-war, anti-Bush political stuff. I'm sure it does have that somewhere. |

I think it's the narrator's lack of fear of being taken off in death. He doesn't see the need to be dragged kicking and screaming into the afterlife he's willing to go. From the other theme's of Kyuss I can deduce it's basically his acceptance og the cycle of life and death and that death isn't something to fear but to accept. He's lived life on earth, wherever he goes next he will go, there is no use worrying. |

The song is using the idea of the moon in showing the way most humans cannot reach their potential. With the moon there are billions of light rays coming off the sun but only a few million are reflected off the moon's surface to show its pearly view to the earth. That is like human's, we are given hundreds of oportunities to live to our best (eg. being born) but most waste them and let them fly past. Like the moon, it's light source is the sun, and yet this beautiful thing's power is wasted in the earea that it shines around the mood. Human's strength is given to us by some other power through our parents (Maynard is a strong believer of spiritualism and so this is relevent) but the amount of it that is blown away by the lazy humans is staggering. This song has the same meaning as 46 & 2, Lateralus and Parabol/Parabola in that we should take everthing we have, EVERYTHING, and use it. |

My theory is peiced together from all the ones previous to now. Except without the irrational flaming. It is about a guy trying to loose the feelings he has for an ex. The cutting and the slashing isn't reference to suicide in my opinion, just a symbol of killing his feelings for her, but they never die. The relationship ended because of a total lack of passion, she blamed him, mocking him and accusing him of being impotent. He doesn't care though, coz he loved her. He didn't care about the fact they couldn't fuck coz he was in love with her. |

it's about wanted to be with your friends but they're not with you. NOW... this could mean the friends are lost in drug addiction, the narrator is lost in drug addiction or it is about some whiney love sick thing. I think the referance to John is the biggest cue. The whole of the Chili Peppers were locked out by John when he was hooked on skag and they could help him... they couldn't love him... they couldn't be there for him. Beautiful song when looked that way. Chili Peppers were nearly destroyed through drugs, terrifyingly sad... but look at them now... Beautifully spiritual and influential anti-drug singers. i love 'em for it. |
