Yea I was wondering the same thing -- who is the 'he' ? I first assumed it was God.. but having read the lyrics and what Pondieman said I think I assumed utterly wrongly lol. James Blunt is already one of my favourite artists I think.. He'll be BIG i reckon.

This is one of those very few songs that is easy to love the first time you hear it. I love it!! I really relate to it, the lyrics are amazing, so touching. Amy's vocals are truely amazing aswell, Evanescence are one of the most amazing bands.
Though i hear they are splitting up,,,? Anyone know anything bout that? I'm not sure. |

What a complete load of rubbish! Sorry to break it to y'all but this song has NOTHING to it. I think the whole thing is based around four very simple chords and a crap variation of drums (artificial sounds of course) BUT i guess that's how it made it into the charts.Personally this song irritates the sh*t outta me. Soz to moan about it, but hey, this is NOT what MUSIC is. |

Desaparecida, your story is so touching! I almost cried when i read your comment *though i really don't know why exactly*.
Anyway that is sorta irrelevant, to me this song is about being lost and alone, in a metaphorical sence, and knowing that your life has changed without consulting you first. I really relate to this song, its bueatiful. I love the piano in all of their songs. Lovely. |
