I know that heaps of Zep fans knock it, but I love HOTRH's wackiness! And I've heard have a cigar, I don't like pink flyod much, especially not that album. It's a little too much, too over the top sometimes, but I suppose Shine on you carzy diamond is a musically brilliant song. |

except, one thing I've though about this song the more I've listened to it is the middle part, .."do you ever really need..." you you think that part is neccesary? It almost breaks up the song, I think. |

It is my favourite song, by led zeppelin, so brilliantly despairing. It is one of the few not jazz, classical songs that gives me goosebumps, in fact, almost everytime. It was the first led Zeppelin song I heard and has been my favourite ever since. It is even better live, OH MY GOD this song live rocks! If I listen to it in the morning it stays with me the entire day, actually even now I conjure it up, oh I think I'll have to go and watch the dvd |

I have heard that this song is about Maureen's younger sister (Maureen was/ not sure if still is his wife), who Bob had a thing for but, of course, could not really show it, or do anything about it and felt was somewhat wrong. |

the 3encircledpoints, I've been doing that too, espically noticing Bonzo's druming, but i'm also noticing that Jimmy isn't that great on guitar. I reallylike this song. initally i skipped over it but then I gave it a go and I love it. But has anyone heard th original? The begining, It is practically the same, even the harmonica, so it's hardly any wonder they got busted for it. Watch Mulholland Dr. its a good movie and it also has the originally of that song for a few seconds, either way you won't be disappointed! |

I don't really like this song too much, it's probably my least favourite song on presence, but that satement is my opinion. This song just makes me think of Robert Plant as a fat, demanding baby, bawling his eyes out for more candy, (metaphorically speaking) |
