Underoath – Some Will Seek Forgiveness, Others Escape Lyrics 20 years ago
This song is so pretty. It brought a couple tears to my eyes, it's so beautiful. in the part where it's like "hey unfaithful..." I think that that part is like God singing to all of us, and then later in the song is the most beautiful part ever, when the scream comes in "Jesus I'm ready to come home" SO BEAUTIFUL! It's just like "I can't stand being apart from You any longer, just take me home" Such passion! I love it! :D

Underoath – A Boy Brushed Red ... Living In Black And White Lyrics 20 years ago
Ya, you're both kinda wrong, BUT right at the same time. Underoath is signed under tooth and nail, AND solidstate! 10 points each. and ya, they're both semi christian labels, and avtually, they're basically the same company...solidstate is a branch off of tooth and nail.

But anyways...

I think this song is about giving into sexual sins when you know it's wrong. He says how this is where they both go wrong, and "in this moment, we both ignore the truth" and the truth being that what they're doing or about to do is wrong in the eyes of God. and there's other lines that suggest this as well. And in the chorus kinda part where it sounds like they're dying and everything, I think that might be saying that they're spirits have died from all their sexual sins, or something to that effect. I'm pretty sure y'all catch my drift, eh?

Underoath – It's Dangerous Business Walking Out Your Front Door Lyrics 20 years ago
Well, I would have to say that this song is about Christians taking things and totally distorting them, and twisting them all around. And this song is an example of that. The song is about this guy who realises how much God loves him, and realises that he could never love anyone as much as God loves him, and everybody else. So this fella gets so caught up in this, that he decides that he's going to kill his wife so she can be with God where she will get the love she deserves, cuz he feels he can't give her the love she needs and what not. So he takes her out for a car ride, and totals the car, killing himself and his wife. And that's basically it. It sounds like the guy was being kinda extreme or whatever, but Underoath was going for that, to get the point across, I believe.

Now, some of you might be asking yourselves how I might know all the background to the song and everything, and the truth is that I just read all this in an interview with them. So I'm not so smart afterall. And I probably messed up explaining this somehow...But I tried as best I could remember.
