Saves the Day – See You Lyrics | 11 years ago |
Isn't the whole glass shoes/plastic wrap/wear my insides just about transparency and honesty? |
Scooter – Nessaja Lyrics | 12 years ago |
It's not a bird, it's not a plane. It must be Dave, who's on the train. Genius! |
Apoptygma Berzerk – Weight Of The World Lyrics | 15 years ago |
1980 for us now? How cool is that for a misheard lyric? Try "1984 is now" instead... you know just like the George Orwell book. Genius :-) |
Mesh – Firefly Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Surely it's not as morbid as suicide and it's just some good old fashioned literal arson... Oh and isn't it "light the poisoned letter" |
New Model Army – 51st State Lyrics | 17 years ago |
The song is full of irony not sarcasm. And besides the term WASP is in no way a racist term, nor does it demonstrate any kind of racist undertone... at least it wasn't until the Americans bastardised the term like they always do ;-) |
Apoptygma Berzerk – Suffer In Silence Lyrics | 17 years ago |
But licking eyes is so much more fun than looking into them ;-) |
Skyclad – Art-Nazi Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I seem to recall the song was indeeed a measure of the bands growing discontent at their record label Noise International. |
The Cure – Doing the Unstuck Lyrics | 17 years ago |
An old girlfriend of mine used to think this song was the opposite of hope and that despite initial appearances it was actually one of The Cure's most bleak songs. She always reckoned it was a song to commit suicide too... I never could agree with her on that one. |
Eminem – Like Toy Soldiers Lyrics | 18 years ago |
April 11th 2006. Proof shot dead in a Nightclub in Detroit. Eerily prophetic... |
Inkubus Sukkubus – Song To Pan Lyrics | 18 years ago |
It's "Oh great horned god of ages past Lord of the hunt, Lord of the dance From that place where you lie slain Come to me, return again Across the mountains, the fields, the sands Be once more upon this land! Oh great horned god, of times gone by Lord of the earth, the sea and the sky Of the forest, and of the glade Be with us now, and for all our days Herne, Cernunnos, Karnayna, Pan Be once more upon this land... " |
Shaggy – Angel Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Just in response to defunct - perhaps it's the fact that Angel uses the bassline from "The Joker" that turtonhot actually made the link? |
Wolfsheim – Once In A Lifetime Lyrics | 19 years ago |
At the end of the day the single greatest song ever written. |
Megadeth – My Last Words Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Nope, the odds are definately six to one. There are six chambers in the pistol and therefore six possible outcomes. Only one outcome will prove to be fatal (the chamber which carries the live bullet) and therefore the chance of dying is one in six, which can be described as a six to one chance. ;) |
Apoptygma Berzerk – Love Never Dies, Pt. 1 Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Hate to burst some bubbles in here but the song is just an old fashioned love song. No death, no destruction... just a plain old love song. Remember reading some interview somewhere a long long time ago where Groth explained that Carmina Burana was so often associated with negative stuff (death and destruction maybe???) and he just wanted to show how it could instead be used to demonstrate positivity and hope and thus a love song was born. |
