Rasputina – Saline the Salt Lake Queen Lyrics
| 18 years ago
|
It seems like it could be about a witch of sorts, though, I think it is referring to strange dreams. Sodium (salt) Bromide ("she's a bromide"), or, NaBr, is a medicine that is used as both a hypnotic (sleep-inducing medicine) and a sedative. Insomnia medicines tend to give people strange dreams, and that could be what this song is about. |

Elvis Presley – A Little Less Conversation Lyrics

myhotelyear and mikematyus, you two are pretty off... the lyrics aren't sexist at all
What the song is about is being in an arguement with the one you love, and what Elvis is trying to say is, hey, it's a beautiful night, let's not waste it yelling and screaming at eachother, all that can wait, let's live in the now.
And paloalto- rape is NOT funny or something to be taken lightly |

The Cure – Boys Don't Cry Lyrics

I agree with fleaaaaaa. It's about a guy trying to act the way society expects guys to act, ie, not crying, by just laughing it off and pretending that he doesn't care, when, in fact, he is devastated and choking back tears. A very sweet song. |

I think this song is about how terrifying one's mind can make a harmless situation out to be. |

These lyrics are wrong.
"If you slip going under
Slip over my shoulder "
It should be:
"slip going under
sailing over my shoulder" |
