blink 182 didn't grow up... they sed so in an interview tom said something like "this album has less joke stuff on it than the other ones do, but i promise we haven't matured at all" or something like that... who care about tom though... I LUV MARK!!!!! mark is awesome.... hes so cool... and i play bass too so i know what a good musician there music is really hard to play! i dont know what this album is talking about but it's good. i think that jesus of suburbia and st jimmy are both the same person, jus changed, like there was a guy (jesus od suburbia) who got all depressed (st jimmy) and the ultimately comitted suicide... its probly wrong... but the is pne of the best albums ive ever listened to... green day totally rocks!! |

its about a breakup that neither one wants to have, like Wilted bleeding said. like the guy did something that the girl didnt like, but she still loves him, but is really mad at him so wants to breakup no matter how hard it is cuz she still likes him... so its all hard and stuff, but he really loves her and is deeply sorry for whatever he did and doesnt want her to go away... i look at from that angle... though i think the only thing that would cause her to be that mad as to break up with him even though she really likes him stil would be him cheating on her... but it wouldnt make since cuz he loves her to... so maybe there was some mis understanding... anywyas that what i think TRAPT STILL ROCKS OUT LOUD... we gotta see more from them! |

the title explains the song completely... this whole cd... the best cd i have ever seen. very mature. IM SERIOUS i say a lot of cds i have are one of the best... this one is THE BEST. Mark (eeeeeeeee) Tom and Travis did exceptionally well and they have awesome riffs and everything.. Travis has like a 2 minute solo at the end of this song, hes showing off basically its so fucking awesome they rick and deserve to show off all the way. USARmyRangrs... the beginning of the song makes me think or a train station and a train leaving... then the song is like telling about the guys chasing the train that the girls on... cuz he doesnt want her to leave cuz hes gunna be lost without her and stuff. this song meaning is hard... but you always know that with trapr...its real deep. they kick ass... i love a lot of bands but few make it to my favorite favorite list... and trapt is one of them. anyways... this meaning is definietely deep and hard... azbbakschamps01 theory seems like it is good, but its jus i dont know... not seeming right... so considering i listen to it over and over again anywyas, i started thinking of meanings... and heres what ive com up with
hes thinking into the future in the chorus and how hes gunna be later and if hes gunna continue being famous or if hes gunna fall and if anyone will remeber him, and stuff... but i dont think that seems right exactly either... cuz the verses and all... so i dont know... the verses sound like hes mad at omeone for not taking an oppurtunity cuz it took to long, like his girlfriend had a chance to d something or stop something but didnt cuz it was taking to long and her patience ran out... and of course that has nothing rlating to the chorus theory.... so im jus gunna do my best figured out meaning in parts as i have been
the second verse relates a little more to the chorus theory cuz it seems like hes seeing when he falls and hes trying to prevent it... but nobody else is preventing it... and AHA it relates a little to the first chorus... like he was trying to get his girlfriend to do something to help him prevent it... but she wont do the thing cuz its taking too long and her patience ran out with him... the the prechorus is about him waiting for the fall to come... anyways this is my theory... its probably really far from true... but i think that hes dreaming this.... and "these thoughts trickle down" is like when hes awake again and then all those thought from his dream hit him as like "omg how much time left do i have like this" wait... it just came to me that all those theories of mine were about his girlfriend... and how they are gunna break up and hes wondering how its gunna be when its all said and done(the breakup is said and done) im pobably just confusing everybody... but anyways to sum everything up, hes dreaming about his girlfriend and then he realizes that he was gunna do something for her but she gave up waiting cuz it took to long and her patience ran out. then he realize that shes going to break up with him and hes the only one who sees it coming cuz he was dreaming about the future and then all the thoughts hit him at oce and he wonders what his life will be like when the breakup is all said and done. i know this is a crazy theory but its what i cam eup with... sorry if this confuses everyone... this song (to me) is about someone who is aloof, and hollow on the inside, emotionless and all that stuff. they have no heart, and are hollow, hence the name hollowman. and the dude singin it (eeeeeeeeee!) does not wanna become like that. and this hollowman is some icy, mean dude who tries to be all the center of attention and always gets in the middle of things. this is a hard song to understand jus by the lyrics. u really also should hear the music too it, it adds to the meaning, but it rox. also u need to be able to realte to this. i try to make the songs that u hafta relate to easier to understand so ppl who cant relate can understand it too. overall, great song... i love it |

ok everyone dont yell at me cuz infact everyone interprets things different.... to ME tho this song is about the girl dying, and "the angel from my nightmare" refers to him haveing nightmares about her death, and she was in it and she looked like an angel to him, jus to see her again... jack and sally probly is referrin to the nightmare before christmas cuz it goes along with the dead thing... the spider thing is that he sees the spider webs and feels like they ate his insides cuz he feels bad to lose his girlfriend/ wife/ whatever the hell she was to him, cuz hes stuck in the web of pain (hence the spiders catching stuff and eating their insides)... but for all of u who cant understand the music video then thats jus plain sad cuz its obviously referrin to her death, dont u notice the constant girls fading away and drowning and roses like a funeral, which they are all dressed up for (th tux's) and doesnt it kinda look like they r playin in a funeral home??! plus the setting is in a dark valley... wait a minute they explain a dark valley in the song!! hey wat a coicidence... but anyways, i loved this song b4 it became way 2 popular and over-played, and if it wasnt for that id be jus screamin about how much i love it... i do really love it, but im jus not screamin... but i DO scream every time the video comes on cuz marks so damn cute!! |
