That is not Sepheryn by Curtiss Maldoon (CM) but Ray of light by Madonna. I'm aware, that she uses the lyrics of CM in Ray of light, but not one to one (more or less the first verse, that's it). There is btw not a mention of "Ray of Light" in the original lyrics. |

Recently read, that it was meant to be a hommage to Carole King. From a harmonic & general sound-ish pov it has a lot of "It's too late" by King. Not being native english speaker, I can not judge if the lyric is comparable to Carole King's lyrical style. Both great songs though. |

Not exactly true, "Racist Friend" is a totally different song ("If You got a racist friend
now is the time for your friendship to end") - and actually not by The Specials but one of their follow up projects "The Special AKA". |

Of Course he has. And he's got a song called "Gangster of Love" as well. 20 seconds of netsearch would've shown. "The Joker" refers directly to both. |
